PILLING, Arthur Edward (Ted)

Passed away on April 23, 2006 at the age of 81.

After serving in Canada’s Navy in World War II, Ted lived in Victoria and Vancouver and followed a career in accounting. Later in life he worked for BC Forests in Princeton and as a guard for the RCMP at both the Princeton and Oceanside detachments.

A longtime resident of the Qualicum /Parksville area, Ted is survived by his loving partner, Valerie; sister Catherine Robinson of Comox; nieces Beverly Prunty (Jim) of West Vancouver and Terry Andersen (Don) of Nanaimo; several grandnieces and grandnephews and his very dear friends and neighbours.

Ted was known for his love of nature and his sense of humour. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered always.
