Peacefully passed away at Eagle Park Health Care Facility in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, on Sunday, June 6, 2010, in his 93rd year, survived by his wife Eileen Alice (Pat) McFarlane. Dearly loved father of John (Cathy) of Sault Ste Marie, Roger (Carol) of Ottawa, Steve (Lori) of Ottawa, and Lori of Victoria. Grandfather of Angela, Amy, Stacey, Jennifer, Stephanie, Alexa, and Hunter. Great-grandfather of Jayde, Alyssa, Andre, Londyn, Cameron, Karlee and Jake. Arthur served in the RAF and RCAF during WWII and experienced a long career with External Affairs serving in a multitude of nations for the Canadian Government. Among Mac’s many interests, his love of golf and painting became his passions in later life. He will be missed by family and many friends.
