CARPENTER, Audrey Elaine

Elaine Carpenter of Qualicum Beach passed away peacefully on 04 August 2012 and is now in the very presence of her Lord and Savior. The day before she was surrounded by her family, laughing and telling stories. Elaine was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and moved to Fort William, Ontario as a child and eventually she went into training to become a registered nurse. Her greatest joys were her four sons and their families. She showered her 8 grandchildren with shortbread, ribs, coffee cake and love. Other passions included tending her flower gardens, making quilts for loved ones and sharing smiles with friends. Survived by her husband and best friend of 58 years, Ken. Loving and supportive mother of four sons and their wives Murray and Dawn; Scott and Leslie; Brad and Karen and Ian and Grace.
