Audrey Grace WILHELM
May 3, 1933 – December 9, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Grace Wilhelm at the age of 82. She died peacefully at Eagle Park Care Facility in Qualicum Beach on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. Audrey leaves to mourn her passing her children, Sherry, Donald (Elka), and Laura; grandchildren, Greg, Robert, Dawson, and Auna; great grandchildren, Ava and Kyan; former spouse and best friend, Don Wilhelm; and many friends, loyal customers, and extended family members.
Audrey spent her career working in retail, owning Shoppers Grocery Mart in Parksville since 1979. While not working, she loved to dance, listen to music, sew, and garden.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at Eagle Park for the compassionate care they provided Audrey during her stay with them.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held May 1, 2016. Those wishing to honour Audrey’s memory may do so by making a donation in her name to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 300 – 828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V8X 3G2.
