AUDREY SHARP

September 21, 1934 – November 18, 2015

Mom, known as “Dolly” by all who knew her was born on the Island of Curacao in the Dutch West Indies. She is survived by son Tony (Beth), daughter Sharon (Willie) and son Bob; grandchildren Matt, Brittany, Kristy and Justin, and one great grandson Carter. She is also survived by brother Rudy Adama and many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family moved to Qualicum Beach and shortly after that she met Norman and were happily married for 55 years until his passing in 2011. After moving to Qualicum Beach mom worked in a local bank while her family operated a bakery in town. She spent most of her life caring for her family as well as volunteering at the Society of Organized Services (S.O.S.) in Parksville for 25 years.

After Norman retired, they spent most of their days traveling the Island in search of old farm equipment and antiques. She loved a good garage sale.

Mom spent her later years raising canaries and budgies and knitting toques and baby blankets for preemies at Vancouver Children’s Hospital and Jeneece Place in Victoria, as well as lap blankets for local

senior homes.

Always surrounded by family and friends, mom was always known for doing things her way.

As per Dolly’s request, there will be no service.
