ANDERSON, Barbara Guthrie Anderson
Passed away into the presence of Jesus on Monday, December 27, 2004 in Port Alberni, BC surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Walter in 2000. She is survived by her children and their families: Valerie Anderson and Brent Walker of Vancouver; Darryl, Marcia and Lark Anderson of Edmonton; Dale Anderson of Ottawa; Craig, Lisa, Beth and Martin Anderson of Maple Ridge; and Larry Anderson of Vancouver. Also surviving is her brother Donald and wife Florence and family of Belwood, Ontario; and her sister Anne and family of Quadra Island, BC. Surviving her as well is her "Special Family" Lynda, Josh, Kris, Kiara and Toby in Victoria. A Graveside service was held. A Memorial Service was held Thursday, December 30, 2004 from the Trinity Anglican/Lutheran Church, 4766 Angus Street, with Reverends Patrick and Dianne Tomalin officating.Tea was to follow in the church hall. Barbara was a long time resident of Port Alberni and rejoiced to see a brighter day coming for her community.
