PERRONI, Barbara J. (Nugent)
Born January 23, 1931 in Lindsay, Ontario, passed away September 5, 2006 in Qualicum Beach.
She went peacefully after battling with cancer and a long battle with Crohn’s disease. She is survived by her loving partner Bill Rudge who made her smile for 25 years. She is also survived by her sons Gian - Carlo (Dominique) and Roberto (Jacqueline) and grandchildren Julia, Christian, and Isabella. She will also be missed by her step grandchildren Natalie and John Craig and Courtney (Matthew) Green, and their children Jordan and Andrew.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jones of Lantzville for his gracious care, and Dr. Love and the staff and volunteers at the Nanaimo General Palliative Care Ward for their hard work and tender care of Barbara. We would also like to thank the staff at Eagle Park health facility who made her last few days so comfortable – and were so welcoming and understanding to our family.
There will be a celebration of Barbara’s life on September 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Parksville Community Center, 132 E. Jensen Ave., Parksville, BC. The reception will be in the Red Cedars room, please join us!
The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers to either the Canadian Cancer Society, the C.N.I.B. or the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation of Canada.
