Canning, Barbara Lynne
Barb Canning (nee Spiller), beloved wife of Brian Canning of Sherwood Park, AB, died December 11th, 2010 at the age of 79 in hospital in Edmonton. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her daughter Donna Bradwell (Frank), grandchildren Carlie and twins Jake and Luke, her son Gary (Treasure) Fergusson, , grandchildren Chase and Keana, step-daughters Shelley Canning and Jackie (John) Halaar and grandchildren Brian, Kelsy and Lexie. Also her sister Marilyn Newell of Qualicum Beach, niece Trisha Newell, nephews Bill and Chico Newell, brother Bill Spiller of Banff and nephew Robbie Spiller.
Barb was born in Calgary, spent her formative years in Banff followed by many years in Vancouver before moving to Nanoose in 1980 where she was employed at the Doctor's Answering Service.
