Ending a valiant 20-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Bea passed away at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Friday, March 9, 2012, in her 64th year.
Cherished wife and best friend of Ken Roeske, adored mother of Scott (Samantha) and Greg (Amy), loving grandmother of Claire and Madison, beloved sister of Brian MacLeod. She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Helen MacLeod. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Margaret (Don) Legare and Brenda (Terry) Klatt, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, both in Ottawa and Qualicum Beach, B.C., where she resided in retirement following her career in the federal public service.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 19, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 795 Island Highway West, Parksville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either the MS Society
of Canada or Our Saviour Lutheran Church,
Parksville, would be appreciated.
