August 7, 1933 – May 5, 2013
On May 5th, 2013 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital an angel left this planet surrounded by love.
Beryl Anne Hjorleifson was predeceased by Lawrence Brown Tough and Magnus (Mike) Hjorliefson. Loving mother to Deb (Lawrence) and Don (Carline); loving grandmother to Shawn (Hollie), Bryan (Amelia), Ryan, and Christine. She was also blessed with a great grandson, Owen.
Beryl was an innovator and pioneer. She worked tirelessly as an executive assistant to the Premier of Manitoba and various Ministries during her thirty year career with the provincial government. Beryl has spent the past few years teaching Reiki and other holistic practices in Palm Desert and Parksville.
On behalf of her family, we would like to thank the staff for the amazing and compassionate care she received during her stay in Emergency, and on the 1st and 4th Floor of the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honour on Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at 2:00 pm. at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville.
