BERTRAM, Betty June
Passed away at Nanaimo Regional Hospital November 21, 2002 after a very brief illness, age 69 years.
She is predeceased by her son Larry and survived by her husband Maxwell and granddaughters Janice and Kristen. Betty was born in Boissevain, Manitoba and lived and worked in Regina and Saskatoon before coming to Vancouver Island in 1974. Here she worked for the School District in Port Alberni and was a realtor in District 69 before retiring in 1992. She loved to travel, do folk art painting and was a member of Eaglecrest Golf Club.
There will be a Remembrance Reception at Eaglecrest Golf Club, 2035 West Island Highway, Qualicum Beach, on Saturday, November 30, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Society.
