Jan 22, 2018
Bill passed away peacefully in Parksville, BC on January 22, 2018. His general health was exceptional right up to his last few days.

He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Joan. Bill's vast network of friends and children Jim (Sue), Mike, & Dave (Tina); grandchildren Nicole, Barbara, Allana, Dan and Matt; step-grandchildren Damien and Samantha; great grandchildren; Alex, Jack, Gwen, will sorely miss him but he will be lovingly remembered for his intellect, charm, humour, generosity, compassion, insight and great wisdom.

Bill was born in 1923 and spent his youth growing up in Ontario. He served in World War II, rising to the rank of Captain. Most of his career was with NOVA Corporation based out of Calgary.  Besides his retirement home in Nanoose Bay, BC, his two favorite places were his cabin on Shuswap Lake and Maui.

Bill left a lasting impression with the many friends he met and he would want them all to know that he was blessed to have had the opportunity to have known such high quality people.

At Bill's request, memorial arrangements will be a private family affair.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either of his favourite charities, the Salvation Army or Ducks Unlimited Canada.
