Brent passed away on September 24, 2019 at the age of 66. He was married to his wife Diane for 36 years. He will be greatly missed by Diane and his great little buddy Felix the cat.
Also survived by his family Jacqueline Craddock, John Bowers, Trevor Bowers, Mark Bowers, and Chris Bowers, their respective spouses and many nieces and nephews.
In 2002 Brent and Diane had the opportunity to retire early and moved to Qualicum Beach. They enjoyed RV travel, Cruising and many trips to Hawaii.
Brent was passionate about his swimming. Although he only took up swimming later in life it became his early morning daily routine followed by meeting up for coffee at Qualicum Foods. But Brent's true passion was detailing cars. He could make any car sparkle like new.
Brent was known for hunting down "Good Deals" even if it wasn't needed. If it was a Good Deal it came home. He also became a pretty good Mahjong player and our weekly games will not be the same without him.
Brent was known for his quick wit and sense of humour. He was always a practical joker and if you knew him you can only smile at remembering some of his practical jokes.
Brent enjoyed gardening, not just around the house, but he also had a plot in the Qualicum Beach Community Garden. Although we didn't always get an abundance of produce he always liked chatting with all his fellow gardeners. In fact, Brent would chat to almost anyone, anywhere, any time.
Brent always wanted to help other people and over the years volunteered with several different organizations, the most recent being the food bank.
