Brian Howard McLellan
February 5, 1948 – May 26, 2016
It is with utmost sadness that we announce the passing of Brian on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol; twin sons, Ross (Michelle Thornett) and Brent (Kelly) McLellan; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Knapp; and son, Ron Brown. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; two step-sisters; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Born and raised in Nelson, BC, Brian joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at a very young age serving in Comox, BC for approximately 2 years. He then joined the Victoria City Police where he worked until a position became available in the Sheriff’s Department. His career with the Sheriff’s Department spanned a period of 30 years with Brian retiring in 2003.
Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at
2:00 pm on Sunday June 26th at the
Eaglecrest Golf Course Clubhouse.
