BUTLER, Bruce Michael
March 19, 1944 - December 19, 2006
Bruce was born in England to George and Phyllis
Butler. He came to Canada with Mom on the last convoy to
Halifax, across Canada to Parksville. Spent his full
childhood and school years in District 69. Took a chef course at Malaspina College. Joined the R.C.M.P., took his training in Ottawa. Stationed in Alberta for 20 years. Retired from R.C.M.P. and was a safety inspector. Then a prison guard in Edmonton. Health reason’s took him to Yuma, Arizona. He came back to Vancouver Island in April of 2003, to be with his family. Bruce is predeceased by his parent’s and son Michael. Survived by his siblings Mark, Carole, Ross, Stephanie and Melanie and their families. Daughter Terri-Lyn in Edmonton and his dear friends Dave and Joanne Gulevich of Calgary.
