Dennis, born in Vancouver, attended schools across Canada, finished with his law degree (UBC 1972) and became a well-respected senior partner in a prestigious Vancouver law firm. In 1976 Dennis married the love of his life, Milly, who shared his joy in hiking and mountaineering. Dennis’s other passions were fast cars, history, reading, golfing, cycling, and photography. In 1994 he and Milly made a major lifestyle change, moving to Valemount where he became the Village Administrator. They enjoyed 12 great years by the Rocky Mountains. They retired to Qualicum Beach where they hiked, cycled and golfed. After a year long struggle with cancer he died at too young an age. He is survived by his loving wife, Milly, Aunt Arta, cousins, and numerous friends who will miss his warmth and humour. Deckhand, driver, lawyer, administrator, community leader and faithful husband, Dennis was truly a man for all seasons.
