In Loving Memory ~ It is with our deepest sympathy to announce that Catherine "Kitty" Larner passed away at the University Hospital in Edmonton on September 7, 2021, after a short and spirited battle with illness.
Kitty maintained her strong will right to the end.
Kitty was born and raised in Battersea, UK until she and Frank emigrated to Saskatoon, SK where they built a life until moving to Parksville, BC to retire.
Kitty loved her time in Parksville, volunteering at the Parksville Senior Centre, she loved singing in the choir and enjoying gardening. Kitty enjoyed being the President of the Parksville Community Centre and made great friends in Parksville including her best friends Jean Laverty and Jean Oyzmok.
Kitty moved to Edmonton in 2019 to be closer to her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank, her sons David and Peter, granddaughter Jaime, Mother Alice Gill and all her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Ian and wife Mimi of Vanscoy, Sk and her daughter Beryl and husband Bill of Edmonton, AB. As well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kitty did not want a service, but request that donations be made in her honor to the heart and stroke foundation in lieu of flowers.
