Christine (Chris) Ann MacPhail
(nee Cooper)
October 22, 1963 – June 27, 2017
Chris passed away peacefully on June 27th in her 54th year. She is survived by her husband Rick of 20 years and sons David and Jordan all of Parksville; Her sister Colleen, nieces Kelly, Jennifer and their families all of Edmonton. She is pre-deceased by her parents Dave and Mary Cooper. Chris was a loyal employee of Shoppers Drug Mart for over 18 years. She was an associate legion member at Branch 49 where she played in the women’s pool league for numerous years. In recent years she was involved in youth football and became an executive member of the Whalers Football Support Society.
We would like to thank all the medical staff and volunteers in both the ICU and Palliative units at the NRGH. We would also like to thank the Home Care Nurses and Staff at Trillium Lodge for making her journey as comfortable as possible.
A special thank you to Dr. M. Van Der Weyde for your help to Chris but also to the family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Trillium Lodge Hospice.
