CLARA ALICE THOMPSON (Wolfe)

October 9, 1928 - June 27, 2016

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear wife and mother after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Clara was born in Edmonton, Alberta to Ordie and May Wolf. Clara was raised in Breton Alberta along with her seven brothers and sisters.

Clara met the love of her life Henry (Harry) Thompson in Edmonton at a Halloween party in 1947 and married two months later on Christmas eve.

They went on to raise a family and earn a living in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Prince Robert, Brentwood Bay, and moving to the Qualicum Beach area in 1980.

Clara and Harry were very much involved in the Bowser Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, Bowser Lions, and the Qualicum Bay OAP.

Clara is survived by her loving husband Harry, her 4 children: Kathleen (Leonard), Patricia (Rick), Allan (Joanne), Richard, brother Merton, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The Thompson family wish to give our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Stanford Place in Parksville for the

wonderful and compassionate care you have given Clara over the past 4 years. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.

No service by request. Cremation has

taken plaqce. A family Celebration of Life

will take place at a later date.
