BENTZEN, Clifford Elroy Arnold
Passed away peacefully at home in Nanaimo with his wife at his side on March 16, 2006 at the age of 75 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Margaret “Marge”; son Michael; daughters Carolyn (Roy) Haakonson, Kelly (Bruce) Finnegan and Sharon (Calvin); sisters Rita Brown and Joy (David) Howell. Cliff was a commercial fisherman for over 60 years. He and Marge have spent many years working together and have great memories fishing with friends and family in Rivers Inlet. The grandchildren will always remember their PAPA. He was so very proud of his grandchildren Carlyse (Domenico), Cory (Gabriella), Kyle, Anny, Amanda (Phil), Cheryl (Dan), Eric and Nicholas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life was held at Yates Funeral Service, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Interment and reception will follow at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society or the Make A Wish Foundation in his memory.
