Daphne passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband Normand Julien, children: Rodney Quick of Regina, SK, Joanne Recalma (Arnold) of Qualicum Beach, grandchildren: Leslie Arnold (Graham) of Courtenay, Jamie Lennox (Dustin) of Campbell River, Ashley Lennox (Alex) of Nanaimo, Whitney Recalma of Qualicum Beach and great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Kaitlynn and Owen.
Also surviving, are her brothers/sisters: Roger (Mary), Rosalind (Andy), Janet and Colin. Also, special friends: Inger Bergum, Karmen Lussier, Brock Lussier and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hospice Society, palliative care nurses, home care nurses and home support. Thank you Frances Recalma for your thoughtfulness.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
