McKAY, Darrell Levern
September 2, 1932 ~ June 30, 2004
Passed away in Victoria, BC after a short, brave struggle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife Elsie of 48 years, children Wendy (Doug), Beverly (Darcy), Linda (Guy), Neil (Desteney), grandchildren Chelsea, Shayla, Jonas, Alden, Haedon, Steven, Taryn, Cody and great grandchild Sydney. Also left to mourn, in-laws Naida McKay and Anthony King of Ontario; Kauno and Audrey Kattelus of Yahk and Aino and Sey Robinson of Calgary and their families as well as many nieces and nephews in Ontario. He was also a good friend to so many and will be forever missed by everyone whose lives he touched. A wonderful man with a great sense of humor, he had a passion for fishing and camping and especially travel, having driven across Canada twice. Active his whole life, he was a former member of the Coquitlam Community Lions, Coombs Old-Time Fiddlers, the P.G.O.S.A. Parksville Eagles and Eagles-on Wheels.

The service will be held at St. Stephens United Church, 150 Village Way, Qualicum, BC on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 1:30 pm.
