Bud died peacefully at Eagle Park Lodge after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, daughter Tara and son Michael (Janet).

Missing him already are his grandchildren; Blake, Adrienne, Heath, Sean, Brendan, brother Warren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bud was a retired Flight Lieutenant RCAF WWII, having completed two tours of operation. He enjoyed and spent 53 years in the insurance business, starting out as office boy, taking time out for military service and returning to become a Director and Vice-President of a large insurance brokerage firm.

He was an active member of the Qualicum Beach Rotary, Probus Club, Sr Centre and always enjoyed hockey and a few games of golf.

Service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Royal Canadian Legion Br 76,

180 Veterans Way Qualicum Beach, BC, officiated by Captain Neil Wilkinson, Salvation Army, Port Alberni. A reception will follow.
