He is predeceased by his father, David James Sr. and brother Daniel David.
David is survived by his mother Kirsti Radke, sisters Jamie Cote and Robin Linn (Egypt), daughter, Rebecca, sons Zachary and Matthew, niece, nephews and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on August 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm. at Yates Funeral Chapel in Parksville.
