In Loving Memory ~
Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 91 at the Nanaimo General Hospital Palliative Care unit.
Beloved husband of Pamela. Dear father of Alexis, Stephanie (Chad), and Louise (Lee). Dear grandfather of Nigel, Drake, and Alec. Dear brother of Rosemary (Eric).
David will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Kathy, Valerie, Steven, Christopher, Michael, Stephen, Andrea, David and many great nieces and nephews.
He loved golf, travelling, playing music and was very talented - playing a number of instruments over the years including trumpet and piano. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends by playing music by ear on the organ.
He retired as a Major in the British Army before emigrating to Canada with his young family in 1968 and then worked for the Ontario Government until his retirement and then moved to Parksville, B.C.
Cremation has already taken place.
