Born and raised in Vancouver, David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of almost 47 years and his sister, Trish DuMoulin, as well as 2 nephews and 3 nieces. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Dee Hooton.
David was a self-taught golfer who won the BC Juniors in 1950 and a long-time member of Marine Drive. He moved from West Vancouver to enjoy the Island life here in Parksville in 1995.
