It is with sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and brother following complications due to a stroke.
Dave was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and is survived by daughters, Karen (Giovanni) Porco of Maple Ridge, Brenda McCurrie of Qualicum Beach; son, David (Elly) McEachern of Toronto; grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Lauren, Matthew and Cathryn; siblings, Beverly (Bill) Taylor, Evelyn (Gilbert) McNab, Sharon (Donald) Walker, Robert (Lynn) McEachern; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Neil (Twila) McEachern.
Dave was member of the 1954 junior A baseball that won the Ontario championship. His team reunions were something he always looked forward to. Dave enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an active member in the Masonic Lodge recently receiving the distinction of Knight Commander of the Temple. He will be sadly missed.

December 6th 2016 at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
