Dave is survived by his wife of 47 years, 2 children, 3 grandchildren, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and family members in New Zealand and abroad.
Born on Nov. 2, 1952, in Auckland, New Zealand, He passed away on April 27, 2022, at home after a lengthy battle with chronic kidney and heart failure at age 69.
Arriving on Christmas Day in 1976, Dave spent 46 years in Errington, Parksville, and Qualicum Beach.
His favourite past times were playing the guitar for the kids and shooting pool with friends at the pub. Dave was an entrepreneur and a master of his craft. He firmly believed the saying, "Loose lips sink ships." We won't forget his storytelling, playful jokes, mischievous laugh and silly ways. Dave was beloved by many.
He will be missed. No service by request.
