In loving memory ~
Dianne Baker of Parksville, BC, passed away peacefully on Monday March 10th after a brief stay in Nanaimo Hospital ICU, with her husband of 57 years Dennis at her bedside. Although Dianne had heart valve issues for some time, her passing was unexpectedly early.
Dianne (nee Angrove) was predeceased by her parents Robert and Margaret (nee Farrell), her sister Debbie, Dennis' father Ben and mother Betty Hatherly(nee Isles) and stepfather Gordan Hatherly.
She is survived by her stepmother Phylis (nee Davidson) sister Jillian, Brother Barry (Bettiann) children Wayne and Jennifer. Grandchildren Kelsea, Robert, and Madison. Greatgrandchild Emberly. Nieces Leah Holland Green and nephew Brett Hitchins, grand nieces Brook, Amanda and grandnephew Spencer Green. Great grandnephews Harrison and Bryson.
Dianne was a nurse who worked whenever possible during Dennis' military career. Dianne was an avid golfer and will be missed by all of her friends at Morningstar Golf Club. Jennifer and Madison had just visited during Madison's reading week and had a wonderful visit. She was also predeceased by her wonderful sheltie Benson who passed away an hour before Dianne. They are in heaven together now.
Celebrations of Life will be held in Kingston the weekend after Father's Day and in Parksville in Mid September. Please contact Qualicum Beach Memorial Services for funeral details and to leave a condolence.
