NORMAN, Dianne Elizabeth (nee Ward-Moran)
Born September 20, 1939, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2004
at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a courageous six year battle with breast cancer. Predeceased by her mother Ivy and father Jack Ward-Moran. Dianne is survived by her husband Bill; son Michael (Wendy), daughter Kimi (Shane) Hendrickson and mother-in-law Lucie Norman. Dianne will also be missed by her sister Jackie (Ted) Latham; brother Ivan (Marianne) Ward-Moran; sisters-in-law Louise (Murray) Bath and Judy Burley; numerous nieces and nephews and her precious little "Kitty-girls" Punky and Lily. The family wishes to thank the very special friends Dianne worked with at Qualicum Beach Elementary School as well as Doctors Morag Atherstone, John Carr and Christopher Williams for their dedicated care. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 138 W. Hoy Lake Road., Qualicum Beach on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Dianne's memory to the BC Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, c/o Canadian Cancer Society, PO Box 1299, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1T3.
