Passed away peacefully at the Nanaimo Hospital after a short illness.
Don is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Jana, 2 daughters: Linda and Jane, and 3 grandchildren: Patrick, Cheryl-Lynne and Chelsey.
No service by his request, instead a donation can be made to the Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care.
