July 25, 1934 ~ July 2, 2009
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday July 2, 2009.
Don was born in Sault St. Marie Ontario on July 25, 1934. He moved his family to Port Alberni in 1965 where he worked for M&B for 27 years. Don and his wife Simone moved to Qualicum in 1980 and have lived there until his passing.
His family will miss him greatly,
Simone his wife of over 50 years, his children Linda (Nick) of Port Alberni, Gary of Port Alberni, Christine of Toronto, Sylvia (Rick) of Mill Bay, Shelly (Rob), of Campbell River
Twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, his brother Doug, Fort Langley, his sister Irie (John), Sault St. Marie, many nieces and nephews.
Don was a well respected and well liked man who will be remembered fondly by a great number of friends.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
There is no service in respect of Don’s wishes.
