It is the end of an era, "Sir Don" peacefully closed his eyes at his home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Don was much loved and will be missed by his immediate and extended families and friends.
Don's working life was spent mainly at sea as a marine engineer with Seaspan (Washington Marine Group).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oceanside palliative care nurses, Kathy and Roxanne, and to Dr. Susan Hunter who all took such wonderful care of him. Also, thank you to Don's 'second family', his friends and the staff at the Crown and Anchor.
At Don's request, there will be no service - in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
