June 5, 1923 - June 22, 2019
Don passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Hospital aged 96.
Don served in the British army as a major in WW2. He was decorated and knighted for his efforts during and after the war.
Husband of Joan Carter (deceased), he is survived by his four loving sons and many grandchildren.
Don will be dearly missed not only by his family, but by his friends and staff at Stanford Place.
A celebration of life by his family will take place in 2020 in Montreal. Special thanks and gratitude go out to the wonderful staff at Stanford Place.
