We regret to announce the passing of Dora Krueger, a long-time resident of Nanoose Bay and Parksville. Dora will be deeply missed and forever remembered by Egon her husband of 64 years, her daughter Irene and her husband Victor, her granddaughter Jessica, her son Guenther and his partner Barry. She was preceded in death by brothers Horst and Paul and is survived by her sister Grethe and brother Guenter in Germany. Dora died very peacefully in the palliative care unit in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and the family is grateful for the care she received there as well as her final few weeks at Little Mountain Manor. Dora will also be missed by many friends in Parksville, throughout BC and Ontario, and in Germany.
The interment service is private for the immediate family. Condolences may be left at yatesfuneral.ca and a celebration of her life reception will be held on Sunday, September 15th at 747 Doehle Avenue in Parksville from 1 pm to 5 pm. Please drop by at any time. No flowers please, but donations to the Parksville or any other Humane Society in her honour would be appreciated.
