LAVENDER, Doreen Forrester
June 18, 1916 – December 27, 2009
Doreen was a very talented woman, local news reporter, short story writer, horsewoman, pilot, green thumb gardener, she had a long and varied life, happily married to Val, her ‘soul mate’ for 58 years and she loved dogs nearly as much.
Doreen passed gently. She will be greatly missed by Val, Mary Anne, David (Sheila) and various family here and in England. She was an amazing woman.
Our grateful thanks to the staff at Eagle Park for making her final days so comfortable.
A private family gathering was held on
January 2, 2010.
