It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris May Crowshaw on Friday, October 12th, 2012. She is survived by her cherished children, Steven Crowshaw (Lorna) and Laurie Clark (Reg), brother-in-law, Ken Crowshaw, sisters-in-law, Kathleen Day and Dorothy Larson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Thanks to Dr. Henderson, and her many caring friends and neighbours in Parksville.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 3030 -B 3rd Avenue, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 2A5.
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispered softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
