RUSSELL, Dorothy Alice
October 11, 1921 - September 24, 2002
We lost our beloved mother, after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by husband John (Jack) in 1971, daughter Maureen 1999, sister Peggy 1999, brother-in-law Wilf Nicklin. Survived by two sons Hugh (Patricia), Michael (Gloria), four grandsons Jonathon, Robert, Cody, Elliot, one granddaughter Marlene, six great grandchildren, brother Reg (Mary), Briginshaw, Nanaimo, sister Gwen Nicklin, Port Alberni, brother-in-law Ray Zoost, Qualicum Beach, nieces and nephews.
We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Loughead, Nanaimo Hospital Cancer Clinic, cancer volunteer drivers, Home Support Staff, and Trillium Lodge, for everything they did for Dorothy. There will be a celebration of Dorothy’s life tea Saturday, September 28, 2002, from 12-4pm at Mike & Gloria’s residence, 1245 Ormonde Road, Sandpiper.
