Dorothy Donkersley
January 31, 1943 – April 3, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandma, and sister Dorothy Donkersley.
Dorothy lost a very short battle with cancer. Her husband and three sons were at her bedside when she passed away. She leaves behind her husband Ken and three sons Greg (Rhonda), Tim (Anne), Brad (Elsje) and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Adam, Sydney, Nash, Peyton, Duane, Rhythm, Josh, sister Peggy, and many friends.
Dorothy was born in Edmonton and moved to Victoria as a teenager with her parents where she met Ken. She spent the last 25 years managing Ken-Dor Garden Centre, which she started with Ken. When she wasn’t working at the Garden Centre, she could usually be found at the golf course or spending the winter in Palm Springs.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents and grandson Christian (2007).

Yates Funeral Chapel
Saturday, April 19 at 1:00 pm.
