It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to Dorothy Irene Stoodley, who passed away at the age of 95, at Eagle Park Nursing Home in Qualicum Beach, BC. She passed away peacefully with her family around her.
She will be deeply missed by her children; Gertrude (Daniel) Lewis, Marlene (Vernon) Simpson, Richard (Linda) Stoodley, Ernest (Sarah) Stoodley, Bob Stoodley and Georgina (Gilbert) Stoodley, plus numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, John Morris Stoodley in 1987 and was the last in a family of 8 siblings to pass.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Yates Chapel, Parksville, BC.
