October 8, 2003 age 93, in the compassionate care
of Nanaimo Hospital
she will be deeply missed by sister Kathleen and family; Richard and Sharon; Angela, Arthur and Jack; Susan, Steve and Ella; Jillian and Joan and many other friends and relatives here and in the UK. Dorothy was born and lived in her beloved Kent, England but came to Canada in 1994 to be close to family after the passing of her dear husband Lewis. No stranger to adversity, her sparkling smile and gentle charm won the hearts of all who knew her. The family thanks the staff at Hawthorne Place, Qualicum Beach for their kindness and particularly the Oceanside Home Care Nurses and staff for their dedication.
Cremation at Parksville Funeral Chapel, no service
or floral tributes at her request but a remembrance gathering will be held at a later date.
