TALBOT, Earl Austin

Born September 1, 1912 in Perdue, SK, Earl passed away peacefully at his home in Port Alberni on Wednesday, October 27, 2004. He is survived by his wife Laura; sons: Glen (Linda) of Port Alberni and Charles of Parksville; daughters: Gloria Fulton of Surrey, Karen Zabinsky (Peter) of Black Creek, Fran Poaps (Chuck) of Port Alberni, Charlotte Talbot (Lynn Milton) of Ladysmith, and Laurie Voysey (Greg) of Powell River. Earl is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A veteran if WWII, Earl was a free and independent spirit. He loved being with his family and his greatest joys were family gatherings. His family will miss him deeply. A Celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2004 from the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue, Port Alberni, with Capt. Neil Wilkinson officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Earl's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 4815 Argyle St., Port Alberni, BC V9Y 1V9. CHAPEL OF MEMORIES entrusted with arrangements.
