KELLETT, Edgar William
who passed away peacefully on the 18th of November at the Palliative Centre, Nanaimo General Hospital after a short illness.
Edgar was born in Winnipeg on May 27, 1912, and lived most of his life there until he and his wife, Daphne, retired in Qualicum Beach in 1987.
During the Second World War, Edgar served overseas in the Royal Canadian Air Force. After the war, he returned to Winnipeg and married Daphne in 1948. Always involved in the printing business, he founded his own company, Kellett Copy Centres in 1970. Edgar was a past Master and life member of St. John’s Lodge, Winnipeg.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife Daphne, son Sandy, daughter-in-law Joan and granddaughter Valerie.
A Memorial Service was held at St. Mark’s Church, Qualicum Beach on Thursday, November 23.
