Edith Vera Duck
April 23rd 1929 - June 18th 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mom, Grandma and Great Granny.
Edith is survived by her daughter Tina and son-in-law Peter, Granddaughters Liza (Ryan), Kyla (Trevor), Lindsay (Stephen) and Great Grandchildren Kate, Max, Jordyn, Luke, Sophia and Claire.
We will miss her loving and gentle spirit, her mischievous blue eyes, the multitudes of treats that filled her cupboards, and the much loved endless cups of tea.
Surrounded by her family, Edith died peacefully at Nanaimo Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 18th.
We would like to thank the hospital staff for their kind and compassionate care.
A celebration of Edith’s life will be held at Yates Funeral Home 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC on Tuesday, July 26th at 2:00pm.
