Ed passed away at the age of 85, on April 24, 2018 at the Nanaimo General, Palliative Care Unit. Ed was predeceased by his loving wife Norma, brother Stanley, son Bert Patriquin (Katherine) and his granddaughter Katherine Ross.
Ed leaves behind his sister Mildred Hill. Stepchildren Ray Dodge (Michelle), Barbara Webb and Debbie Ross (Jim). Grandchildren Otis, Hilton, Michael, Travis, Brittney and Phil plus 9 great grandchildren.
Ed is father to Monty Patriquin (Claudette), Ray Patriquin (Catherine) and Patricia Johnson (Bob), grandfather to Shane, Elizabeth, Terry, Stephen, Jeremy, Taylor, Evan and Brandy. Ed will be missed by his many friends and family from Ontario and BC.
Our family would like to sincerely thank our cousin and friend Shirley Patriquin for the love, support and care that she gave to Dad.
To Ed's customers (dog and human) in San Pareil, we want you to know that it brought Dad so much pleasure to deliver your papers and provide treats to all your four legged friends.
At Ed's request cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
