1937 – EDMUND LANG – 2014
It is great sadness the sudden passing of my beloved husband of 53 years.
Ed was predeceased by his parents Emile & Clara Lang, and his brother Henry Lang.
He has a sister Linda (Otto), Strathmore, AB; brother in-law Darryl (Brenda), Pincher Creek, AB; nieces and nephew Marlene (Bill), Karren (Wes), Lorraine (Roy), Cindy (Brian) all of Calgary; Darren (Kourtnie), Pincher Creek, AB; as well as a cousin and aunt in Germany.
Ed was born in Brienne, Bessarabia, when he was 14 his parents, sister, and brother immigrated to Canada from Germany he worked in Coaldale, AB, was there for two years, from there they moved to Calgary.
Ed did carpentry, building homes in Calgary and surrounding areas, later on he got on with the Canadian Pacific Rails where he got his electrical papers. He was electrical and traction motor supervisor till his retirement after 30 years at the C.P.R.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, music, photography and whatever he did, he did with perfection.
I will miss you with all my heart and soul.
