GUENTHER, Edwin Francis Lionel

Edwin passed away on the winter solstice at Royal Jubilee
Hospital, Victoria surrounded by his loving children and family.
He fought a short, brutal and unbeatable battle with cancer
and was taken from us far too early and unexpectedly. Predeceased
by his mother Marjorie in 2006, he is survived by father
Johann, son Michael, daughter Julia, brothers Del and Les,
sisters Sheila (Del), Eileen (Scotty), 13 nieces and nephews,
many more family members, and all of his wonderful friends.
Edwin will be greatly missed by all, but none more than Michael
and Julia, who have lost a loving and devoted father.
In lieu of fl owers, donations will be put in trust for Michael
and Julia, or made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A gathering to remember and celebrate Edwin’s life will
take place on Sunday, Jan. 3 between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
at 1467 Price Road in Errington.
