EGILDA (Jill) GRIPPO
With great sadness we
announce the peaceful passing of our mother Egilda (Jill) Grippo on December 27, 2014 at Trillium Lodge.
Born in Carufo, L’Aguila Italy on May 3, 1924. She came to Canada with her parents Gregorio and Maria Moretti at the age of six months. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Theodore (Ted) Grippo. Survived by her loving family: daughters Maria (Mike), Geraldine (Gerry), Carolyn (John), Teresa (Frank); along with eleven grandchildren and six great-granddaughters.
We will miss her lovely smile and cheerful voice. The family would like to thank all the staff at Trillium Lodge for taking such good care of our mom. We will be forever grateful.
Private funeral service will be held in Burnaby.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society.
