Elisabeth (Betty) Borstel, passed away peacefully in Trillium Lodge, on June 26, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Sonja, son-in-law Pat and grandson Ronnie. Lovingly remembered by her son Ron and daughter-in-law Joan. Also four grandchildren: Elisabeth, Sean, Kevin, and Lorne; four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A long-time resident of Parksville, Betty will be sadly missed by all her friends, especially Doris and Brian. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness and loving and generous ways. No service by request. A donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The Borstel family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Lodge and the wonderful home care aides, who gave Betty the respect, care and compassion she so deserved.
