Survived by mother, Barbara Coltart; predeceased by father, Bill Coltart; brother Peter Coltart and Elaine; sister Jane Hooey and Edward; several nieces and nephews.
Betsy’s RN background was a natural fit for her contributions to Oceanside Hospice. Starting as a volunteer, she served as a Board member and Chairperson. In 2005, Betsy was hired as the Executive Director. Through her warmth, hard work, and organizational skills, Betsy raised the profile of Oceanside Hospice. She will be remembered for her boundless energy, infallible memory and sense of humour. Betsy also donated her time and skills to the Write Place and Poco a Poco.
Service were held Wednesday, August 8 at 11:00 at?Yates Funeral Home, 1000 Allsbrook Road.
